Sometimes we need a quick and simple card!
I used a stamp from my crafty stash, find one that makes you happy and craft along with me.
A good option is Flowers Fair.
Cutting & Scoring:
Basic White Cardstock – 5 1/2” x 8 1/2” card base, score at 4 1/4"
Basic White Cardstock – 4” x 5 1/4”
Decorative Paper (DSP) of your choice cut 5 1/2" x 4 1/4". I like Beautifully Ordinary.
Scrap pieces for die cuts
Instructions:
Stamp Floral Image to the Basic White card front in black ink. If you're using a stamp like Flowers Fair or another background stamp try angling the image and only stamping on part of the page or masking off part of the image.
Stamp or ink the flowers again with embossing in and heat with gold embossing powder.
Color in a few flowers that you'd like to use.
Then either die cut or fussy cut a few flowers to make your black and whtie image burst into color.
Cut our multiple layers of the flower portion of your design to add dimension or use puffy tape, like Stampin' Dimensionals for height.
Stamp your sentiment. I used a large "Hey" from Taylored Expressions, but I like the Hello Sunshine stamp from the Splash and Relax set.
Adhere sentiment with puffy tape (foam). (Stampin' Dimensionals)
Add embellishments to finish the look.
Try stamping a small image on the inside corner of the card for a little extra design.
